Happy New Year!

We spent most of New Years eve (day) at the airport. We were at my Mom's for a week for Christmas. We had a great time. All of my siblings were there so it was a full house but we loved it. Michael loved the outdoors there. It was much warmer than Utah and there was no snow on the ground so he got to play outside a lot. He didn't sleep that well while we were there, I'm realizing he's just not a good traveler. Hopefully he will grow out of it. We didn't get home until about 9:00 p.m. on New Years eve. We had a five hour layover in Dallas which was not to fun. Brent and I were so tired from the trip we didn't even stay up until midnight. We decided that sleep was more important. Anyway, I hope you all had great Christmas's and New Years, we did.

Welcome home. I think it's funny that you went to bed before midnight. I probably would have too after such a long trip. I've been up every year since I was 10 or so. I'm sure the day will soon come when I realize it's just not worth loosing sleep over. (Okay as a totally random coincidence the password thing you have to type in to post my comment is: rest!)

All 3 of our kids don't sleep well traveling until they're about 4. It will get better - but not for a while! Glad you had a great time and that you weren't stuck in any of the storms.
